HQU General Alumni Association, founded on Nov. 2, 1985, has 62 branches all over the world, including branches in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Canada, Australia, USA, Japan and other countries, as well as the regions of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

The mission of the General Alumni Association since its establishment has always been to involve and inform alumni and friends of Huaqiao University. We publish stories about our alumni home and abroad to enhance our connections with them. There are Alumni Network, E-magazines and Alumni Forum serving as platforms to recruit overseas students, promote overseas Chinese education and help the Board to invite funds and talents to our university. HQU General Alumni Association has played a continuous vital role in supporting alumni’s development and graduate employment, helping those in need, as well as promoting intercultural exchanges, Sino-foreign friendships and international trade exchanges.
