I. Programs provided include Joint Degree Programs, Credit Exchange Programs, Travel and Learning Programs, Language Improvement Programs and Studying at HQU.
Joint Degree Programs:Sino-American Cooperation on Higher Education and Professional Development (CHEPD) 121 program, 1+1+1/2+1 Dual Master Program (DMP), Master Preparation Program (MPP), 2+2/3+1 Dual Bachelor Program, 3+1+1 Student Exchange and Master Degree Program, 3+1 Bachelor and Master Degree Program, etc.;
Credit Exchange Programs: Studying abroad in renowned universities in UK/USA/Canada, such as London School of Economics and Political Science, University of Aberdeen, University of Wisconsin–Madison, University of Torono; Youth Exchange Students (YES) with more than 20 public universities in USA; Short-Term Exchange Program with Universities in Taiwan (TEP); Short-Term Exchange Program with Universities in Japan (JEP); Tuition-Waiving Exchange Programs with universities, namely Birmingham Conservatoire University of Guam, Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, Maynooth University, Gifu University, Musashino University and Niigata University;
Travel and Learning Programs: Summer Camps in renowned universities in UK/ USA/Germany/Italy/Canada, such as University of Manchester, University of Pennsylvania, University of Torono and Politecnico di Milano, Singapore Youth Leaders Travel and Learning Camp, Travel and Learning Program in Monash University, Travel and Learning Program in Japanese Universities, Travel and Learning Program in Taiwanese Universities, and other TLC programs around the world;
Language Improvement Programs: CCIEE 121 Outstanding Freshmen Scholarship and 121 Outstanding Graduates Scholarship, New Oriental TOFEL Scholarship, UKEC Scholarship for IELTS Improvement, and improvement program for minority language training;
Studying at HQU: Dual Bachelor Program for students from countries alongside the Belt and Road, HQU Summer/Winter Camp for Foreign Students, exchange programs with tuition waiving (same as the above), etc.
II. Exchange Achievements
Since 2010, the number of student exchange programs has increased from 8 to 30, and it’s still increasing rapidly. By the end of 2017, these programs have sent 557 students to Europe, America and Oceania, 1,649 students to Taiwan programs and more than 100 students to other Asian countries and regions, meanwhile 200 exchange students from America, Holland, Ireland, Germany, Japan and Taiwan, etc. are accepted by HQU.
241 students have been selected for the Sino-American CHEPD 121 Dual Degree Program and 54 students have graduated. (Data collected up to August, 2017)
Some of the graduates participating in these programs have been admitted by prestigious universities for further study, such as Harvard University, Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University, University College London, Technical University Munich, University of Hong Kong, and Monash University. Most of them now work in world-renowned enterprises, such as Huawei, Alibaba Group and Deloitte & Touche. (Information collected up to August, 2017)
